AMU Admit Card of the Admission Test 2020-21 | Full Details #AMUTestInfo

For taking Admission in Aligarh Muslim University (AMU), we have to clear the admission test exams. AMU offers various courses for admission every year such as undergraduate courses, postgraduate courses, Research Programmes, School Admission, Diploma courses, Advance Diploma course's, certificate courses etc.


There are TWO types of Admission Test in Aligarh Muslim University (AMU)

1. General Admission Test or Test Courses
2. Departmental Test

1. TEST COURSES: These are courses in which candidates are selected through centralized Admission Test

2. DEPARTMENTAL TEST COURSES: These are courses in which candidates are selected through Departmental Test.

For the same Admit Card to appear in the General Admission / Departmental Test will be issued by the University only to those candidates whose Application form, complete in all respects, has been submitted successfully on the Controller’s website on or before the last date of filling as notified in official notification.


WHEN & HOW TO DOWNLOAD OR COLLECT MY ADMIT CARD OF AMU ADMISSION TEST
1. Admit card for General Admission Test or Test Courses: Admit Cards will be available online 1 to 2 weeks before test date and only be downloadable from the AMU Controller’s website www.amucontrollerexams.com

2. Admit card for Departmental Test: For Departmental Test courses, Admit Cards will NOT be posted or uploaded online. The Admit Cards will be issued one or two days before the Test date from the respective department office / Respective Chairman office / respective faculty office.


SOME IMPORTANT POINTS REGARDING ADMIT CARD (AMU)
1. No Admit Card shall be sent by post.
2. Bring 2-3 Photographs (same as you uploaded earlier)

3. Candidates are required to paste their recent passport size colour photograph in the space provided on the downloaded Admit Card (same as affixed on the Application Form).
4.  The candidate will not be allowed to enter the Test Centre if he/she is not in possession of proper Admit Card with duly affixed photograph of the candidate.
5. The Admit Card shall be issued provisionally subject to the scrutiny of the eligibility. It is only after verification of the eligibility that the candidate would be considered for admission. Mere appearing or qualifying in the test does not entitle a candidate for selection / admission.
6. Any discrepancy in the Admit Card, especially with regard to candidate’s particulars, must be brought to the notice of the Application Form handling Office concerned by the candidate in writing before the commencement of the Test.
7. The allotted Test Centre of the candidate shall be specified on the Admit Card.
8. Handbag / Carry bag/ Mobile phone / calculator /watch/any other electronic gadget or any paper (other than the Admit Card) shall not be allowed inside the Test Hall/Room and the University shall not be responsible for its safekeeping. If a candidate is found in possession of any such item during the Test, he/she would be deemed to have used unfair means and may lead to
cancellation of his/her candidature.
9. Candidate should NOT leave his/her seat without handing over the Answer Sheet/Booklet and Admit Card to the Invigilator. Therefore put one extra photocopy of your admit card and bring at home.
